At Noisekillers, we’re always looking for ways to push soundproofing performance further — and some projects call for more than an off-the-shelf solution. Recently, we completed two standout builds on a Skoda and a Toyota Land Cruiser, where the brief was simple: maximum noise reduction, no compromises.
These weren’t just standard kit installations. Both customers wanted a deeper level of treatment, so we took things a step further by stripping out the full interior. We then layered the vehicles extensively with NK Mat Sound Deadening and topped it off with Sound Barrier across the entire floor to absorb as much road and vibration noise as possible inside the cabin.
In the Land Cruiser, we also treated the roof with 15mm Flat Foam, which makes a big difference in cabin acoustics — particularly in larger 4x4s. For the Skoda, we tackled the wheel arches and the entire boot space to round out a complete, high-performance setup.
This level of build is truly bespoke. It goes far beyond what a typical soundproofing kit offers and isn’t something suited to DIY installation. These jobs typically take 2–3 days to complete, but the results speak for themselves — you’ll notice a dramatic improvement in cabin comfort and noise levels.
We’ll be offering this full-vehicle, custom soundproofing service going forward for customers who want the absolute best in noise reduction. If you’re after a quieter, more refined driving experience, this is the way to get it.
It’s also worth noting that the Land Cruiser build was completed in collaboration with West Coast Offroad, who will soon be stocking selected Noisekillers kits. Watch this space!
