Thermo Liner – 6mm Van and Vehicle Insulation

UK-made, self-adhesive closed-cell thermal insulation for vans, campervans, motorhomes and vehicle conversions.

Noisekillers Thermo Liner is our new 6mm thermal and acoustic insulation material, developed as a more cost-effective alternative to our foil-faced Thermo Barrier.

Using the same high-performance closed-cell insulation material, but without the foil facing, Thermo Liner is ideal for covering larger areas of vans and vehicle interiors where a reflective foil layer isn't required.

Made from flexible closed-cell nitrile rubber foam, it provides excellent thermal insulation while being easy to cut, shape and install around the curves and contours found inside vehicles.

The material has a thermal conductivity of ≤0.033 W/(m·K) at 0°C, providing excellent insulation from just 6mm of material.

Self-Adhesive Installation

Thermo Liner is supplied with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, allowing it to be applied directly to clean vehicle bodywork without the need for a separate adhesive.

Simply cut it to shape, peel away the backing and press firmly into position.

Closed-Cell & Moisture Resistant

Thermo Liner has a closed-cell structure with extremely high resistance to water vapour transmission.

This makes it particularly suitable for van and vehicle insulation applications where moisture control is important.

Wide Operating Temperature Range

Designed to perform in demanding environments, Thermo Liner has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Thermal & Acoustic Performance

Thermo Liner isn't just designed to control temperature.

The material also provides sound absorption, helping reduce airborne noise passing through large vehicle panels.

For the best overall vehicle soundproofing performance, we recommend combining Thermo Liner with NK Mat.

Apply NK Mat directly to the metal first to control panel vibration and resonance, before installing Thermo Liner over the top for thermal insulation and additional acoustic treatment.

Thermo Liner offers excellent fire performance, achieving:

The material also has supporting testing demonstrating compliance with traditional Class 0 criteria.
